What are the eligibility requirements?
- Active FAFSA on file with UCR's Financial Aid Office
- Pell-eligible status
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Application for childcare scholarship support

How much does the child care grant cover?
Awards are based on a sliding scale and can cover up to 100% of your portion of childcare costs. Funds are paid directly to CECE on your behalf.

Can I use this grant with other childcare assistance?
No — CCAMPIS cannot be combined with other childcare assistance programs.

What childcare centers may I use?
The grant may be used at UCR's Center for Early Childhood Education (North or South).

Can I use this grant to pay for family or friends that watch my child(ren)?
No. CCAMPIS funding is only applicable at the UCR Center for Early Childhood Education.

Will the CCAMPIS grant pay for summer camps?
No, but CECE operates 12 months a year, so your child can continue receiving care through the summer as long as your family remains eligible.

How long can I get this grant money?
The goal is to support you throughout your time as a UCR student. Continued eligibility is required, but funding availability will also be a factor. Grant funds are paid directly to CECE.
