Families planning ahead for the upcoming school year can now access the Center for Early Childhood Education's (CECE) full calendar for 2026–27, covering closures, special events, and key dates from July through June by visiting the Current Families page.
Key Dates to Know
Center Closures
CECE will be closed on several dates throughout the year, including July 3, August 26-28, September 7, November 11 and 26-27, December 24–31, January 1 and 18, February 15, March 26, May 31, and June 18. Families should plan alternate care for these days.
Early Closures
The Center will close early on December 23 and June 17.
Special Events
- September 1: Kinder Prep Begins
- October 9: Back to School Night
- April 21: Administrative Professionals Day
- May 3-7: Teacher Appreciation Week
- June 12: End-of-Year Celebration
Picture Day will take place in May, with dates to be announced closer to the event.
